Why did you join APhiO? I joined ΑΦΩ to meet people and to start volunteering again. I heard about our Fraternity from a few friends, and they really love it and recommended it to me. So I checked it out and now here I am, happier than ever.

Why this Excomm position? I love reading the newsletter, so I thought being in charge of it would be fun.

Favorite hobby? I love to bake! It’s my stress reliever and I love sharing the finished product with the people that I love.

Favorite quote? “Dream as if you’ll live forever. Live as if you’ll die today.” ~ James Dean

Your thoughts and hopes for the future of APhiO? I hope that APhiO continues to grow and gain more brothers who all love doing service. I believe that our Fraternity can really make a difference, and one service project at a time, we are changing the world.

Which was your favorite/memorable Service project? My most memorable service project was “Brightest Little Star.” We went to a craft store in Berkeley to help sew ‘scent dolls’ for premature babies at the community hospital. This project really touched me because I was a premie myself and just seeing all these people and mothers donate their time and energy for these families was really heartwarming.

What do you have to say to the incoming pledges? Hi! I’m really glad you decided to pledge for Alpha Phi Omega and start your journey in LFS. If you need any help at all, don’t hesitate to ask. Enjoy all the experiences and have fun.

If I could change the world…I would make it rain gummy bears!!!!! Okay, not really, but that would still be cool. I would have everyone show more compassion and be more considerate of others.

Any last words? “All you have to do is A.S.K.!” <3

Why did you join APhiO?After my ASU internship, I felt that I should be doing something else with my time besides school. During my internship, I met a couple of cool people that were pledging and/or active in APO and that is when I found out about it. I thought it would be a great opportunity to help out the community and meet new people.

Why this Excomm position? I was 1/2 Publication Director in Spring 08 “Brownie Mixx” so I have some experience and I am here to support my Fall 09 Banquet Chair Co Sharon <3 Plus I like to be creative and organize, therefore Publication Director is thee perfect position! yay.

Favorite hobby? Anything creative that I can get my hand on: drawing, scrapbooking, and photography

Favorite quote? You can be alive today and dead tomorrow. Therefore, do what you want to do.

Your thoughts & hopes for the future of APhiO? I hope Alpha Phi Omega will continue to grow stronger and influence more people to find their love to help others and their community.

Which was your favorite/memorable Service project? It was the After school Program at Glide Memorial, basically helping out kids with their homework and being there for them. The kids were adorable =]

What do you have to say to the incoming pledges? When it gets tough, don’t quit because in the end its all worth it also don’t procrastinate, I believe that each and everyone of you can make it. Have fun =]

If I could change the world…I’d probably change the value/importance of money, instead of focusing on how much you have or want to earn.. how about focus more on life’s simple happiness?
