Scissors Family Heads

Ken_profileName: Kenneth Cornejo

Family: Scissors

Pledge Class: Jack A. Mckenzie

Major: Business Management

Why did you join APhiO? Honestly, I joined APhiO becuase my friend Edell talk me into doing it. At first I felt like it would be a waste of time, but then overtime I realized how pledging would benifit me in so many ways.

Why this Excomm position? I decided to become a scissor head becuase I wanted to represent the best family, scissors, and I felt like I wanted to get more involved with AphiO.

Favorite hobby? I like hangout with friends, partying, clubbing, basketballm, getting to know people, swimming, fishing and just do something that is really relaxing.

Favorite quote? “Expect the Unexpected”

Your thoughts & hopes for the future of APhiO? Well I hope to be more involved with AphiO, hopefully becomeing part of Excomm.

Which was your favorite/memorable Service project? My favorite service project was at the Memorial Glide.

What do you have to say to the incoming pledges? Well the only thing I can say is expect the unexpected. I can tell them that even though it is challenging, it is worth it overall.

If I could change the world…I would do anything you tell me ;) haha

Why did you join APhiO? Friends Edell and Kenneth told me about it and it was a good way to meet new people and I was interested in the whole community service project.

Why this Excomm position? Thought about all the Excomm positions and thought being the Scissorhead with my co Kenneth would be a good idea because it isn’t a lot of work (hopefully) and is exciting because were the one in charged with our family events or what not. It’s a good position because we can come up with our family fellowships to get together and bond etc.

Favorite hobby? Favorite hobby is SPORTS! love playing sports especially basketball, volleyball and football.

Favorite Quote: “I can accept failure, but i can’t accept not trying”.

Your thoughts & hopes for the future of APhiO? My thoughts are I Love APhiO, its a good way to meet new people and love the community services. My hope is hopefully this fraternity keeps doing what it’s doing all around the world because it only makes the world a better place.

Which was your favorite/memorable Service project? My memorable service project was when my JAM class did our pledge class service project (forgot the place. think st. jude’s) because it was fun and all of us worked together and bonded more. And i remember Edell almost cut his hands from cutting onions.

What do you have to say to the incoming pledges? It might be a lot of work in the beginning, but once you cross over it only gets better.

If i could change the world… I would change it through APhiO..!!

Any last words? APhiO ALLLL DAYYY EVERRYYYDAYYYY!!
