About me

What’s up Mu Zeta! My name is Miguel Deleon, also known as Iggy. I’m proud to be back for a second term as your president! I pledged last Fall in the James. L Chandler pledge class, and it was one of the most life changing things that I have ever done. For many years, I was known as the shy guy, but after pledging, I’ve found who I really am, and you could say I’m a lot more outgoing now. It was a tough process pledging and balancing school, but I’ve made life-long friends and learned a lot of vital skills that I could apply in the future. Aside from my APO life, I spend a lot of time playing musical instruments. My favorite instrument of all time is guitar. I started playing violin in elementary school, which eventually lead me to play piano for about 7 years. I eventually got tired of going to piano lessons because all we learned was classical music. That’s when I moved on to playing guitar because it was more portable and I could really express myself with it. I’ve played guitar for about 4 years now, and I enjoy performing at local shows and events, so come through next time I have something! My next goal is to learn how to sing, and I am currently in a beginning vocals class at school. I hope the semester goes well for you all. Don’t be a stranger and come up to me to say hi or have a conversation. I’m really easy to approach, so please don’t feel hesitant or intimidated!
