Name: Linelle Lagsob
Why did you sign up for this position: I signed up for Rushmaster because I knew I couldn’t make the time commitment to hold an ex-comm position due to classes, but I still wanted to do something to contribute my part to the chapter.
Hobbies: Eating!! swimming, and shopping. If I have time I like to read and watch movies too.
Why did you join Alpha Phi Omega: I joined because my dad and my sister were both in it and they would always come home with stories about how much fun they had and how amazing and wonderful the things they got to experience were.
Anything interesting about yourself: When I was a toddler in the Philippines, I used to eat dirt. To this day, my family makes fun of me for it.
Tell us something you would like the chapter to know: “Great leaders are made, not born.” -William A. Cohen. We are all privileged to be a part of this Fraternity, and so we should grasp the opportunity to learn from one another and grow as leaders as much as we can.
Anything else you want to add: Eat your green leafy vegetables!!
How does holding this position help with your leadership skills: Having to open the Rush Table every morning helped me to be more prompt with time. Whenever Karina and I could not be there, we learned to delegate others to be in charge. Working with a co also helped me to have better communication and organization with someone else. And lastly, it helped me to learn to draw the line between work and play, because we would constantly have to tell our friends to go out and rush, despite wanting to sit and hang out with them.
